Did you know?
Therein lies a tale! is a collection of forty seven tales, divided into five sections:
1. Sare Jahan Se Acha – Tales from India
2. Namami Bharatam – Tales from our tradition
3. Rathi, Atirathi, Maharathi – Tales of exceptional people
4. Dharmakshetre, Kurukshetre – Tales of forgotten places
5. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – Tales from around the world
The first section, Sare Jahan Se Acha, consists of tales from the Indian landscape – some contemporary, some historic, some even pre-historic. Each tale highlights a certain facet of this country that you are probably familiar with, but didn’t give it due attention. The second section, Namami Bharatam, transcends the notion of India and presents some interesting tales from the traditions of Bharat! The third and the fourth sections contain tales on exceptional people (Rathi, Atirathi, Maharathi) and forgotten places (Dharmakshetre, Kurukshetre). The last section, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, is from around the world – beautiful anecdotes from the lives of Einstein and Stephen Hawking, from Oscar-winning movies like Schindler’s List and The King’s speech, on the history behind the Nobel Prize and spiritual lessons of an entrepreneur when she was on the crossroads of her life.
If you allow it, some parts of this book will make you smile, some will make you laugh, others will bring a lump in your throat or force your eyes to tear up. If you allow it, Therein lies a tale! will make you feel good about yourself and your world.
