I discovered the world of Vlogs recently. Within that really liked the videos by Desi Wanderers (Ankit and Puja) and Dr Sumit Kesarkar. Sharing video of Om Parvar and Adi Kailash Yatra and of Footloose Dev to Lipulekh Pass etc.
When I visited Narayan Ashram (ahead of Dharchula) in 2012 we were told that the Narayan Ashram was the starting point for the Kailash Mansrovar Yatra and Adi Kailash was enroute. Now a road is made right up to Adi Kailash.
Ahead of Pithoragarh, before gaining height, all offer prayers at this temple for a safe journey.
River Kali, that divides India & Nepal, at Dharchula.
Trek from Narayan Ashram on Kailash Mansrovar route. 2012As you will see in video 1 opening of road is attracting lots of adventure tourists and devotees providing employment to locals. (All need a place to stay and eat) Sharing video links. 1&2 were shot in October 2021.
