Yoga for Healthy Ageing: Building Resilience, Energy and Well-being at Workplace.

International Day of Yoga: India's Gift to the World

The United Nation declared June 21 as International Yoga Day in 2014, following a proposal introduced and championed by Indian Prime Minister N Modi. Rooted in India's ancient wisdom, yoga is a holistic practice that integrates movement, breath, mindfulness, and balanced living, helping millions worldwide improve physical health, manage stress, and enhance mental well-being.

This year's theme, Yoga for Healthy Ageing, highlights yoga's role in supporting vitality, mobility, mental clarity, emotional resilience, and quality of life at every stage of life.

Why Yoga Matters Today

Lifestyle-related conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, stress, anxiety, sleep disorders, and burnout continue to be on the rise.
