Swami Vivekananda - Vedanta comes to the West

Editor - A friend gifted me a book on Swami Vivekananda’s life and thoughts. Even though had read books on Swamiji earlier really liked this one because it was comprehensive, easy to read and flowed very well. The book is informative with many insights.

The book has ten chapters namely Yoga Bhumi, Born to Renounce, The Master’s Disciple, Wandering in Mother’s Spaces, The Flame Atop the Hill, Vedanta Comes to the West, A Brave New Movement, Spiritual Energy Unparalleled, Merging in the Absolute, Swami Vivekananda’s Action.

The attached PDF file has book Preface and a chapter Vedanta Comes to the West.

Swamiji lived for all of thirty-nine years yet inspired lakhs of freedoms fighters, Indians from all walks of life not to forget the Ramakrishna Mission. If Swamiji had lived for another twenty-five years India might have been a different country today.
